It's all systems go for
the launch of WorldTeach in Malaysia in May 2001. Eric and his team are working
towards that special event. There are already 94 WorldTeachers ministering
in Malaysia - even 6 months before the official Malaysian launch.
Seminars have also been
conducted in Brunei. There was overwhelming enthusiasm to learn more about
the Word of God from the Christians there.

WorldTeach
Conference 2002
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia WorldTeach Malaysia held its first WorldTeach
Conference on 11 May 2002 at Full Gospel Assembly Church. Two seminars were
offered concurrently. Dr Andrew Goh, a Trainer-Consultant who is also a WorldTeacher
from Singapore, taught The Vision of the Leader. Dr. Florence Tan and Mrs. Mary
Pak, also from Singapore, taught Women Who Make a Difference to a group of 77
ladies.
118 people attended the Vision seminar. The participants responses were
very encouraging. Many had asked for the seminar to be conducted again so that
it may benefit their friends and church leaders / pastors who could not come.
This has not only helped me as a leader of the church but also in my own
personal life, one church elder commented.
Eric Tan, National Director in Malaysia, affirmed, With these enthusiastic
feedback, we are now looking into the possibility of bringing this seminar to
the other major towns.
Mainly married ladies attended the Women Who Make a Difference seminar. One
participant from Seremban (60 km from KL) exclaimed excitedly, Please
allow me to bring this course back to my church for the ladies who did not come!
When she found out that the training was on the following day, she came back.
Her prayer was answered. In all fifteen ladies were trained. Three actually
came all the way from Kuching in East Malaysia. Arrangements were made to conduct
more training in July in Ipoh and Penang, two towns north of KL.
